My name is Keisha Moss, and I am proud to serve at the Poughkeepsie Community Christian School in the role of principal. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Lehman College, and my Master’s in Education from Mercy College. I am qualified to teach Early Childhood, and Elementary Education. This will be my first year at Poughkeepsie Community Christian School after serving for twelve years at Oakview Preparatory School of Seventh-day-Adventists and two years at Middletown Christian School.
“True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.” Education, E.G. White
I have a true passion for working with our young scholars. Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—spiritual, academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of scholars that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
Personally, I have been married for 16 glorious years and have two fantastic children, both boys. I enjoy reading, cooking, music, photography, attending church on Sabbaths, and spending time with friends and family.
I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development.
