Our application takes the following process:
Application & Registration
- Call or e-Mail our school to set up an appointment if you are planning to visit (especially for new families).
- Submit an online application or download our application form here with a non-refundable fee.
- A face-to-face meeting with the prospective student and a parent/guardian is required with the school principal before the application and acceptance process is complete.
- Complete your child’s online registration, which also involves the tuition and fee payment portal, if you would like to pay fees online periodically.
OUR DRESSING CODE
The Poughkeepsie Community SDA School has uniform dress code, which is in accordance with Christian standards of modesty and neatness in dress. You may obtain a copy of the code as outlined from this page from the Principal’s Office. The school uniform is required for all grades preschool through grade 8. It is worn from the first day of school.
Gym T-Shirts and sweatshirts are sold at the school. The gym uniform must be worn on designated gym days. A minimum of two uniforms are recommended. School emblems to be applied to school sweaters can be purchased through the school.
Modest loose-fitting navy-blue sweatpants are required (during hot weather navy blue shorts allowed as long as they are only 1 inch above knee). Mostly black or white colored sneakers with non-marking soles are required.
