The Poughkeepsie Community Christian School has uniform dress code, which is in accordance with Christian standards of modesty and neatness in dress. You may obtain a copy of the code as outlined from this page from the Principal’s Office. The school uniform is required for all grades preschool through grade 8. It is worn from the first day of school.
Gym T-Shirts and sweatshirts are sold at the school. The gym uniform must be worn on designated gym days. A minimum of two uniforms is recommended. School emblems to be applied to school sweaters can be purchased through the school.
Girl’s Uniform Dress Code (Preschool – Grade 4)
- Plaid Jumper #83: A-line, dropped waist style. Jumpers must be at least 2 inches below the bottom of the kneecaps or longer.
- Blouse: Yellow bottom front with round collar (short or long sleeves)
- Sweater: Green cardigan with long sleeves to be worn over blouse.
- Socks/ Tights: Green knee high socks or tights. Heavy weight tights or leotards are suggested for winter wear.
- Shoes: Black, flat, low-heeled (sturdy weight).

Girls Uniform Dress Code (Grade 5 – Grade 8)
- Plaid Skirt #83: Optional to jumper (available at https://www.cookieskids.com)
- Plaid Necktie #83: (only for Grades 5-8 girls wearing skirts).
